Before you can use the seven segment display unit, you will have to connect its pins to the Raspberry's GPIOs.
## Compatibility and Requirements
You will need to use a Raspberry Pi version 2. Other models or products may work as well, however, this has not been tested. Furthermore, the display unit we recommend is an SA56-11YWA from Kingbright. You will need eight Resistors with 147 Ohms, some cables and a breadboard, as well.
